Kaijun Huang, MD, MS, started her MD career in 2018 working at New York city metro area. Dr. Kaijun Huang has an interest in general and preventive medicine, including chronic medical condition management (diabetes, hypertension, chronic hepatitis, coronary artery disease, infectious disease, pain management, etc), cancer screening, vaccination, and counselling for psychological conditions, etc. She is board-certified in internal medicine. She is a member of American College of Physicians, as well as a lifetime member of Association of Chinese American Physicians (ACAP). She received ACAP Young Professional Award in 2022. Dr. Kaijun Huang grew up in South China, after graduating from Guangzhou Medical University, she received her master degree in medicine at Sun Yat-Sen University. She completed her internal medicine residency at NYU Langone-Brooklyn. She was then on the faculty of a private medical group as a medical director of primary care division for 6 years. She has been elected as a board member of one of New York's Medicare Accountable Care Organizations. She believes in developing relationships with patients to understand their health needs and goals and working collaboratively with each to develop a plan to achieve their optimal state of health. In her spare time, Kaijun enjoys hiking, reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
